Interest Only Mortgages

Bastille believe that interest only mortgages, for the right client, can be a valid mortgage solution. Typically clients use equity in the subject or other properties, and need a 15 to 25% deposit as a minimum. Minimum income levels may apply,  and some banks may require regular payments into ISA’s or pensions, or a yearly overpayment. Like all scenarios we are happy to consider interest only mortgages as part of the advice that we give.

Interest only mortgages are commonly used where large variable income is received, or for self employed clients, or on second homes and can help monthly liquidity in such circumstances.
